Come dance with the SoCab showgirls and instructor Jenny Pierce to explore go-go dance fundamentals from the 60s and 70s at 12:00 on Saturdays, then stay to get ready to bump and strut as we practice the ultra-feminine art of the showgirl at 1:00PM! No fringe, feathers, sequins or heels required. Jenny's classes are for EVERY body. Come as you are and get YOUR body moving and flowing through dance styles designed to connect you to the BABE you are! Go-Go Dance Class 12:00 on Saturdays Showgirl Strut Dance Class 1:00 on Saturdays Cost: $25 Description: Learn 60s and 70s Go Go Dance classic moves such as the pony, twist, and mashed potato and examine and practice expressing how these dance moves transformed in the 70s Our Showgirl Strut class features classic mid-20th Century jazz music and entertainment as the source inspiration. The choreography in Showgirl Strut class places emphasis on sensual, feminine movement and a basic Jazz dance vocabulary. But Jenny is also the founder of Brooklyn based Go-Go dance troupe, lifestyle collective, and clothing brand, Babes Rage.
